5 offices become 1 efficient space

Everlast Group, a multi-disciplinary enveloping contractor, wanted to consolidate five offices into one central headquarters. As well as being a destination office to impress clients and retain staff, its purpose was to encourage collaboration and knowledge sharing across the business.

Working together

Our project management team co-ordinated the entire works, starting with a 5 week design and engagement programme. This was a collaborative and inclusive process, involving staff from across the wider team at the request of the client.

To meet the client’s needs, a key focus of the design was on creating multiple alternative workspaces. Staff required spaces for high concentration tasks as well as places to support collaboration. An auditorium was also included to provide space for learning and client presentations, as well as a ‘bar’ for events and entertaining.

CAT B tenant fit out

Formm acted as Principal Contractor for the procurement and implementation of the CAT B tenant fit-out. This included floor coverings and Crittall-glazed and plasterboard partitioning to create separation of spaces, kitchens and a tea-point to provide relaxed interactions, bespoke joinery, signage, ceiling alterations, lighting enhancements, M&E, and even biophilic elements.

Fully Furnished

We were also responsible for the entire furniture provision, working predominantly with trusted furniture partner Senator Group. Furniture ranged from bench workstations to sit/stand workstations, high performance task seating to rooms-within-rooms. As well as more general storage, a storage wall became a design feature. Boardroom furniture and a reception desk were supplied, as well as soft seating, café furniture, and more.

A workspace that works harder

Today, the office provides a variety of spaces to meet every team member’s needs. The design cleverly divides spaces whilst keeping an open and inclusive feel. There are places for private meetings and concentrated tasks, as well as a myriad of areas to encourage colleague interaction. All of which ensures a space that really works for the Everlast Group.
