An update over 21 floors and 12 months

We took on the role of Principal Contractor for this residential refurbishment with responsibility for procurement, site management and full implementation. The development incorporates 169 apartments over 21 floors and was in need of updating throughout.

Contemporary on every level

We worked closely with the design team to deliver more contemporary spaces. This included replacing kitchens (including appliances) and bathrooms, flooring, doors and balcony doors throughout the building. The ground floor was remodelled with on-trend communal spaces. Full decoration was required throughout to provide residents with a functional, contemporary aesthetic.

Managing external spaces

Outside the building, elements of cladding insulation had to be removed in order to meet new building regulations standards. We also implemented new blockwork paving and planting to create a welcoming and inviting space.

Future thinking

Formm oversaw the procurement and installation of new heat recovery ventilation units (HRV) as well as new high-quality efficient electric water heaters. These support a more sustainable approach. As Principal Contractor, we took the lead on consideration of sustainable materials and delivery, including health and safety on-site.
